New Year’s Eve Style with a Twist

The burning question is what to wear on New Years Eve?
It can be a night out in New York, Las Vegas, LA, or a night in with friends or that special someone.

Want to look classy, sexy, and edgy with a twist, while feeling comfortable and looking uber chic?

New York Style likes to start off with the a cozy little drink called the Humbug Cocktail invented by the masters at 508 Gastro Brewery and is a spiked creamy eggnog that is a little minty and spicy.

If you want to dress for either an office party or a festive party you can go with a gorgeous all black dress such as a black velvet or black slacks with a black sweater and add faux fur hand warmers from MKCollab and then accessorize with a gold clutch, earrings, and bracelet. If you are wearing a dress add black tights rather then a sheer black hose so it will dress it up. You can add a high knee boot or even a gorgeous pair of black pumps to finish the look.

How about Las Vegas? The weather outside might not be frightful, but for those looking for a little Sparkle in their Christmas, rest assured that there’s an oasis in this desert. The Venetian and Palazzo’s Winter in Venice is a beautiful landscape of festivities, and along with the skating, holiday concerts and strolling carolers are deliciously themed cocktails, and for the chocolate lover, like I am, you would want to try the Gondolier Blanco at the Venetian. Now you want to spice up your look  while in Vegas with a short sexy dress in red, gold or silver shimmer. Vegas is more about clubbing up your look and staying up all night and looking fabulous.

When in LA the look is about Red Carpet Glam. You can go to many popular places and buy a dress that a celebrity may have recently worn or why not rent a gorgeous Red Hot Gown from Rent the Runway.

The latest LA trends are  variations of Moscow Mules and mixing metals so why not pair your copper mug

with the gorgeous Dangling Gem Necklace from Marisa Kenson that is available on my Eboutique.

Keep your look signature look while at home but add a little twist for your New Year’s soiree.

Have your champagne ready but add a bottle of Ginger Ale that is chilled  along with frozen strawberries and then add a little punch into your style by wearing a skinny jean by DL or Not your mothers jeans, add a black lace top and the Aggie Sleeveless Jacket by MKCollab,  available on my website and your favorite pair of boots and you are ready to greet your guests.

Whether your glamming up your New Years from New York to L.A. showcase your best you and as Taylor Swift says, “We never go out of style”.

Happy New Years! See you in 2017.
